i need some form of reputable music media so i can be told what to think about new albums loaaaaaaal. so sick of pitchfork and their absolute wank of garbage they post on their website.

do you tune into any music forums/blogs? which ones should i definitely check out/avoid?

allmusic is a goldmine for finding new (or old) music, if you're willing to dig a little
occassionally i check out metacritic, it occassionally has good shit which isn't covered in pitchfork or whatever

but for srs, tinymixtapes is pretty good

oh and get the new horrors album asap

hype machine is pretty good, it takes popular music blogs and groups them together...so it gives links to a variety of good (and shit) album reviews and stuff.
