deconstruction of an image....!! and text. (1 Viewer)

I have been having some trouble trying to work out how to deconstruct an image and texts (article and 1 non-fiction and 1 prose fiction) but I am not sure how to start and how to go about deconstructing these texts and image...
if possible could you suggest some sites I could visit or maybe tell me how to start deconstructing something...? maybe rules to go by or something?
I only have a few days left to do this so if there is anything you can do to help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.
