haha is that macq thing still on? God who is it run by again? I went to that when I was in yr 12. Biggest waste of time and money! But hey it couldve improved by now. All I could remember was that it was a pain to get there............and I just ended up doing more socialising than studying......hahah dam shouldve concentrated more then

Oh thats a while. Though I thought it would be around then. So daze, i noticed you finished high school in 2000? What did you do since then? And just on applications, did you happen to make two copies of your application? lol

Lol, somehow I managed to photocopy everything *i think*. Although I'm sure I screwed up elsewhere in the application process.
I've actually been working as a dental hygienist since high school so I'm another nonstandard applicant.
November seems so far away...

I don't mind at all :)
It's a great job in terms of pay and flexibility (you can work part time or full time). The hours are great (no overnight shifts like nursing). However, it's really hard on the body (yes dent is too) and it can become very repetitive. I no longer feel like I'm being challenged so I feel the need to move forward. I've talked to other dental hygienists and they can't imagine doing anything else so it depends on the person I suppose...

If i dont make dental science might go for oral health then finish that and hopefully get in dentistry at usyd.
