Assuming you know that d/dx (secx) = secx tanx , then:

(n-2) (secx)^(n-3) times secx tanx

ie. (n-2) (tanx) (secx)^(n-2)

Why is this in the Extension 2 section? Are you sure you did not mean 'Integral'? The integral of powers of the secant function is a far more commonly asked question.
