anyone read it? im about 10 pages from finishing and it's given me such a squirmish and uneasy feeling. moreso than any other book.

I liked survivor heaps,
choke was ok too but i read it heaps quickly and found it a tad light,
wouldnt mind reading this but i hate spending $25 on a book and then reading it in a few days

i just finished choke, it was good but nowhere near as good as invisible monsters.
fight club the book is 500000 times better than the movie.

has anyone read his short story-thing guts? soooo good.

But wouldn't be for a while anyway, I have a stack of books not including uni-related materials I'm hoping to get through at the moment.

its worth reading, just cos it gets in your head and disturbs the shit out of you in a really insidious and subtle way. but its not light reading, not even humorous really.

chuck palahniuk is annoying because his style never develops much
and his subject matter doesn't alter much either

has anyone read the latest 'Haunted'?
i was tempted to buy it until i read the many bad reviews it received
seemed a little more interesting, it's a framed collection of extreme short stories. guts is one of them

I loved Survivor. Am reading Diary at the moment and I can't get into it. I hate Misty and she's fucking boring.

what's the general plot of diary? just deciding whether i want to read it or not.

Basic outline, a woman keeps a coma diary for her husband. He's in a coma because he tried to kill himself and was unsuccessful.
