Did anyone perform badly in the Preliminary and perform well in the HSC? (1 Viewer)

i was doing really badly in year 11 on the road to 70's... ended up with 95 =]

Totally. U can make up for it in HSC.
Prelim marks
Legal st: 62
Business st:84
Adv Eng: 57
SOR I: 74
Drama: 80
2U Math: 52 (dropped to 16% beginning of yr12)

You can still redeem yourself if u screw up half yearlies


HSC marks:
Legal: Half yearly mark= 80 HSC=87
Business st: Half yearly mark= 72 HSC=92
Adv Eng: Half yearly mark= 60 HSC= 89
SOR I: Half yearly mark=76 HSC=88
Drama: Half yearly mark = 80 HSC=85
Gen Math: Half yearly mark = 66 HSC=91

What would have been an atar of around 68 became 91.9

30% in prelim 3unit maths (although I was sick during the exam) and ended up getting a band 6

I performed better in year 11 than in year 12:

Mathematics: 4/14
Mathematics Ext. 1: 3/3
Digital Imaging: 1/14
Physics: 1/8
Chemistry: 1/8
Biology: 1/16

But I guess I didn't perform badly in HSC though.

yup, lol, no A's in preliminary for my yearly report, but managed a mid 90's ATAR.

Yeah I got a C's D's and an E in my final preliminary report. Barely passed my trials but got 89.35 ATAR. Last minute study ftw.
