if your aim is to be a dental assistant then do this degree. if it is to become a dentist then do another degree. if wont help you one bit more or less to get into dentistry if you have done a relevant degree or not

Doomah I know where your coming from.
I think this degree is exceptional for the dentistry course as it provides relevant knowledge for the course.
However only problem it doesnt provide an easier method into the course through the GAMSAT. I would prefer a degree that will provide an occupation for me if i choose to take a year off after the degree. That is why I want to do Oral Health.

it does not give u a good foundation for gamsat

I'll be learning the GAMSAT contents over the yearly break.

you can do that too provided you know how to teach yourself

there are some people who know how to self-teach and that is all that matters

Trust me I can self teach.
If i do have problems I can consult a family friend who went from Software Engineering --> Dentistry. He learned the content from scratch and smashed the exam.
