Hey everyone! I was just curious what's the difference between fiscal stance and fiscal outcome?

I know its not the same thing, thats for sure. Like fiscal outcome there's a formula (total revenue - total expensese - net capital investment). So thats why I think it has something to do with only calculating the status of FP during that particular year. Whilst fiscal stance is a comparison of the year before....I'm not 100% sure.

I'm just a bit confused because...for e.g. fiscal surplus (G<T) but contractionary FP also (G<T).

Thx everyone.

ugh i need to revise. i think this is how it goes

fiscal stance is the change compared to last year (ie. smaller deficit = contractionary)

outcome is the overall effect of a budget. ie. G>S or G<S like u said
