Discovery - The Imitation Game! (1 Viewer)

I'm looking at using 'The Imitation Game' as a related text, along side my other RT Mid-Term Break and set-text Away by Michael Gow. Does anyone know fundamentally what is discovered in the film, apart from the obvious physical discovery of the code-breaker. Is the film deeper than that?

I would look at the part where Kiera Knightly is 'discovered' by Benedict Cumberbatch as highly intelligent. This discovery is challenged by the patriarchal values of British society and the sexist mores of the time. This in turn could be seen as leading to new understandings etc.
