It includes all 14 010 students (up from 13 338 last year) and was parsed from the listing on the Board of Studies website.

Statistics

* There were eight Band 6 results in Standard English (up from five last year). The preliminary scaling report indicates that the top HSC mark in that course was 92 (up from 91 last year).

* Achievers with mentions for only one course: 7 010 (50.0%), up from 6 487 (48.6%)

* Achievers with mentions for two courses: 3 031 (21.6%), up from 2 778 (20.8%)

* Achievers with mentions for three courses: 1 664 (11.9%), up from 1 558 (11.7%)

* Achievers with mentions for four courses: 1 046 (7.5%), down from 1 080 (8.1%)

* Achievers with mentions for five courses: 674 (4.8%), down from 761 (5.7%)

* Achievers with mentions for six courses: 407 (2.9%), down from 468 (3.5%)

* Achievers with mentions for seven courses: 154 (1.1%), down from 180 (1.3%)

* Achievers with mentions for eight courses: 23 (0.16%), down from 26 (0.19%)

* Achievers with mentions for nine courses: 1 - James Emmerig of Sydney Grammar School - congratulations!

James scored mentions for English (Advanced), English Extension 1, English Extension 2, Mathematics, Mathematics Extension 1, Music 2, Music Extension, Latin Continuers and Latin Extension.
