Do i need physics to study med ? (1 Viewer)

I want to drop either business studies or physics ?
I suck at physics, but have been told I need to keep it for med. :S

nah, if u dont do physics u wont know how all the different machines work (MRIs, CTs, X rays etc) and they kick you out.

This is completely and utterly untrue.

I have never done medicine, but I can definitely tell you that in VCE Physics you do not learn anything about MRI, CT or X rays.

Anyway, if physics were required, it would be a prerequisite subject. As it is not a prerequisite for any undergraduate medicine degree in Australia (including Monash's MBBS), feel free to drop physics if you are not enjoying it.
