hi,running out of hope so can someone tell me bluntly whether i have hope or not but please be truthful.my uai aim is to hopefully get over 99.3 and currently the estimator is estimating it at 98.7 but this is highly inaccurate as they aren't my hsc marks .for 7 of my units, japanese extension and 4u maths, i get above 95 for them but for my english adv mark i get 80 and for chem i get around 85. (these are previous results) i finished my trials a few weeks back and got my results and they were around the same as the marks listed above.my question if i study really hard and get above 90 for chem and eng and above 95 for jap ext and 4u maths in the real hsc, is is possible for me to get ove 99.3?tell me there is hope because i feel so shit thank you !!

sorry to sound sooo depressed about it but yeah basically i just dunno what to do with my life if i dun get into law/arts which is 99.55 and stuff
rank of school: top 5 or 10 cant remember
my ranks:
eng prob 150/160
chem 20/40 or 80 cant remmeber
jap and maths: top 5 out of 80 and 18

um i do 4u maths and 3u jap and i get over 95 for them
2u chem and 2u eng so altogether i have 11 u
and i think our skools in the top 5

i know that some people consider 98.7 as awesome already and people can go to uni for uai of 80 and succeed in life without a tertiary degree and stuff but i honestly feel that there is probably no other path for me personally, in terms of what i want to do and what i can do, besides this degree so thank you for telling me i have hope
now im going to study my butt off

It's interesting you're aiming for law, particularly with your English ranks (not trying to be mean or anything, more of an observation that you seem to be more a Science/Maths peron?), why is that?

you can also full fee or transfer into law after first year
but yeah law is very much english based, unless its just hatred of the 2unit course (which doesnt test english skills rather ability to memorise prewritten essays), you need to improve your english skills to do the law course

surely if u got 98.7 youd get into a course which is 99.3....im hoping to get into a 70 course with a uai around 63...but i get 5 bonus points for being in the country
