Lachy, things eventually shapes up. HSC does not solely determines one's intelligent, because an individual's intelligent doesn't manifest itself until maturity.
To survive uni you need to be both hard working and smart, and HSC serves as a test whereby the individual's "hardworking-ness" is tested before entering tertial education. If the person ultimately is a rote learner and cannot survive in the real world, he or she will eventually get kicked out of uni.

And that comment you made about the Chinese girl who jumped down....you need to watch your mouth, twit.

can hard workiness really let you suceed in the real world? once again all you forum seekers seem to think uni is teh be all and end all and that the worst possible case scenrio is getting kicked out of uni. big fuc-ing wow there is that many individuals in todays society who believe that uni is a "wank" and that all it gets you is a piece of paper. if you wnat to know about hard work start down the pecking order and make your way up through the ranks to the same level as these "graduates" then you wiull know about fuc-ing "hard working ness" you miserable c-nt

the only thing that continues is teh dimise of both asians and smart people as they continue to conduct these stupid acts out of what they think is intelligence well i guess one less of them is a bonus to us in the long run
Hmm, I'm guessing you're just being an idiot - however that's just taking things too far, like always.

I'm a believer in being socially intelligent, on top of being well educated. It's no use getting a UAI of 99, if you can't communicate to anyone.

Anyways, to the topic. I felt, when I sat the exams, that this year, all of my exams were easier than previous years. However, when i looked back over the past papers, I realised that they weren't 'easier questions' this year, it's just that I put a hell of a lot of study in - so they seemed easier.

That's my take on it anyways. :)

questions were great, fair paper, in hindsight hwo gives a fu-k? an idiot no, spending last 2 years of my life spending all my time studying jst to get into a certain uni course and so i can claim that my uai and thus my apparent smartness s higher than many other, this would be an idiot action so i leave with the question of who is the real idiot?

It's all personal preference. No one is 'the idiot'. You mightn't aspire to do certain things in life, where as others may wish to. So, you mightn't want to go to Uni, finding another way to make you happy. However, others do want to pursue a degree!

Let me ask you this simple question, are you a pussy? Do you understand the concept of real intelligence in the real world? The simplistic art of common sense, which isn't ironic that it is lost in our society due to complete and utter impertance's like yourself.

Was this lachy1878 guy taking it too far was he? He seems to have his life in the 'peckin' order and yet you think you can take away his grace on this beautiful country my ancestors have provided for you leaches to leach off. now I should be saying 'you've got big balls mate real big balls' but I won't because your a pussy. No no no no, not before you take a forum scope of the word pussy, thats what geeks do and what you were thinking in your head, when you were reading this memorising for your big reply.

Valid points need to be thrown out there, but see before the pionts can be expressed and disucssed the forum pussys rock up thin and fast "oh big taste i'm going to report you" - please do, it makes my night. When I hit my sheets tonight I will laugh and giggle to myself of what fools you people all are.

Is suicide in the question for your BoS forum geeks, or am I going to experience 'The Revenge of the Nerds' no pun intended dumbo's.

Of course, if you are highly intelligent but is a twat who wants to makes yourself feel better about your failure by blaming others, then you won't succeed in real world.

It is impractical for every employer to spy on his prospective employees for twenty years before deciding that this employee is worth hiring. This "piece of paper" simplifies the process for employers by setting a universal standard. You should be aware that university today consist of both theory and practical learnings, an undergraduate unable to complete the practical component of his course would face equal risk of getting kicked out.

Indeed there are people who skips the education part and go straight to the workforce and move up but the same hardwork will be required of them

Pussy is more like somone who does shit, and then blames other people for making him look bad in contrast.

Someone who can survive in the real world cannot memorise better than someone who can't survive in the real world? Is that what you are suggesting?

The one exam I definatley agree with is biology. I was actually peeved about that. I don't think you can understand what this dude is sayng until you do that biology exam. I studied so hard and got in there, and was like "waaahhh?" The questions were incredibly general and not specific. I was annoyed because I didn't get to show off what i knew from studying my ass off.

Also, I talked to people afterwards who hardly studied and they were really happy with it. That pisses me off, as mean as it sounds.

You are an idiot, every single Australian, excluding Aborigines, are for immigrants. By branding someone foreign and thus cannot succeed is a crappy argument.
Besides, by making it hard for one to secure a uni spot is a good thing, competitive progresses society, would you rather it be so easy that any profound moron can simply walk in a uni? As I have already noted, university courses today consist of both practical and theory components, both are valued equally, someone who "cannot survive in the real world" as you say, would fail their course. What's important is not the piece of paper, they can be reprinted when the graduate lose it, but the process in which the graduate underwent to earn the paper. If the currently system isn't working, what other alternative is there, I for one WOULDN't enjoy my prospective employer spying at me until he believe i am worth hiring.

Message me on the day the results come out and show me some cocky results, because not only am I getting a vibe of a fu-ck witt, let alone a geek trying to get an opinion that unfortunately you will never be able to socialise in real time over, so you outsource to the internet.

I've seen people year in year out, "oh thos exams were too easy", well you know what mate when u get those results, you will get a facebomb and a realism check, which hopefully will make your balls drop, fu-ck me you people continue to make me cringe, but let me leave you with the usual catch, how you react determines how real and infectious my point inflicts you, fu-cken derro's.
War

I never said at one stage that the HSC was "easy"... in fact I have had to work my ass off to get results that I deserve! Anyone who bothers to put everything in should get what they aim for! I'll give you a reality check for about 3-4 months I was going to bed around 1-3am and getting up at 6-7am the next day every day to finish my art project! DID U DO THAT....NO! don’t believe me watch the link... tell me that you have the balls and patience to sit there and recreate a small fraction of that and I’ll listen to you!

You don’t top 2 courses by sitting around watching tv, drinking and screwing chicks unfortunately. all exams have challenging questions all I asked was if people thought it was more general rather than specific not if it was harder or easier then past years...

Don’t complain because you did sh-t or cause u can’t match up to other students... BOS is just a forum... that’s it do you understand that or do you have the brains of a piece of string? i think you do because I’ve read your posts.... you’ve asked questions given advice and all that shit! just accept the fact and move on...

p.s the sam calculator on this BOS site is sh-t and I would never use it to calculate a UAI... UAI is based on ranks not fu-king guessed marks

also I will send u a pm with my UAI... ill make it the first thing i do!

Does that answer penetrate into your thick skull, fu-ck me, seems like a common problem now-a-days, common sense verse book-smart. My dad is the CEO of a ASX Top 200 company, and he tells me day in day out, the HSC is a detrminant of how hard you can memorise, not what you can achieve and do under pressure situations, so looks like my dad would never hire people with your intelligence may-cat, lol wtf is may-cat fuc-ken freak.
also i dont think anyone wants to talk to a di-k head like u anyway?

who cares what ur dad does! basically ur UAI decides what course u get in to thats it... its the intelligent people who stop fu-kers like u from destroying and creating burdens to society

wow a CEO who cant think for himself and hires people like him! hes only in the top 200 but he aint number 1! that proves sh-t all! NOW GET BACK IN LINE AND DO YOUR JOB FLIPPING BURGERS KID!

think what you want to think ... for the record THE HSC IS CLASSIFIED AS WORK ... this is the 13 year JOB that comes to the end on the basis of knowledge and ability to APPLY knowledge... the foundations of life is BUILT UPON ones ABILITY to approach the HSC

hardwork shows determination, determination leads to success... you cant skip a step cause if you youre not worthy of your success

You have totally missed the point, typical of somebody who is lacking common sense, determination and general intelligence.

Do you think I'm worried about my results? When I know I will get what I need to do at UNI, a 91 to be exact, no not at all.
The claim of these HSC exams that you think are piss easy is, hmm let me use some geek terminology a 'noob' excuse, because I know and you know as well as everybody who supports me on this forum, that your results will personally and utterly be outright shocking, not only because of your general manner but your mis-interpretation of questions, which ironically is the basis behind the HSC. You may have a wrote-learnt essay, seeped in a bank of useless knowledge, but it all comes down to your ability to extract that information from your cerebellum and answer the question, which I know you havn't done, as these exams were too easy for you, and yes ignorance is bliss, but it comes back to my original point - how intelligent is a piece of string? That analogy and what should be a rhetoical question cannot and will not be answered in your lifetime.

What my dad does, yes it doesn't matter, what he has achieved does with no UNI qualifications, and he is a man who has many job applicants flowing into him from fresh uni students mainly from UNSW and SYD, and do you wanna know what he looks for? Someone who can speak English, has an idea of the world outside the study closet and internet cafe's, who knows how to socialise effetively and efficently and who can make decisions under pressure. You people of this forum are none of those and you never will be - fortunatley. I asked my dad last night where most of his successful candidates came from at his work. Obviously Private schools, (so people from state schools please go to the next paragraph), with individuals getting marks of around 75 - 90 as this mark is relative to the amount of extra-curricular activity they have attained in their study period and he said to me most UNI students from Sydney and New South are very Labor orientated as well as radicals, which is not what he wants in a liberlised working business society. Uni's such as ACU, Wollongong, Newcastle, MQ is where success is achieved in his company.

If you PM me your UAI as the 'first thing you do', I will make sure you never have confidence within my society ever again, because if your thinking of me the day it comes out, you may as well pack up your bags and fu-ck off out of here SH33P.
