I hate screaming lyrics. I know some really good bands that play some good songs, but then they start screaming and they ruin it. I don't mind the occasional screaming chorus or even a whole song, but every song is a bit much:(.

Screaming when justified = WINNAR!

Screaming for the sake of screaming, ala Cradle of Filth *shudders*

While I don't listen to CoF, I find "screaming" to be pretty good(I'm obviously a fan of similar music though so heh)

Yeah, I don't mind it when it fits into the song, and as long as it doesn't go for too long. The thing I can't stand is when the whole song is screaming:).

I'm told you need lots of talent to scream in tune... mind you this was from a linkin park fan :p

Personally I think songs should involve singing and not screaming...perhaps a little for emphasis but not the whole bloody song! Especially when they have a perfectly good singing voice... such a waste!

Oh screaming in tune is a hard thing to do.

Maynard, Bon Scott, Corgan and Dexter Holland are probably my best screamers.
