You need to learn some basic musical theory before you can practice learning chords and stuff otherwise it will be confusing

Yeah. Just know how to play chords when starting out lol

Just curious if any person on BoS plays guitar.
Please include things like:

-How many years have you been playing?
-Self taught or took lessons?
-What type of guitar(s) do you play?
-How many guitars do you have?
-What style of songs do you like playing.

I've probably been playing really for like a year and a half or something by now.
I've been taking lessons but I've learned most from the internet and I started off in year 8 music.
I started off on an acoustic but it's a crappy cheap one that I never play anymore. I play whatever I can get my hands on basically but I own two electric guitars.
Four technically. One is the unplayable acoustic, one is in a display case because it's signed by Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of The Who. I have two electrics that I usually play unplugged (because I don't have an amp at the moment).
I like rock songs because that's the music that I like and listen to but I like playing anything really.
