I could have (not to sound arrogant). The ATAR I got was pretty much exactly what I needed and I didn't put in nearly as much effort as I could have. In hindsight, I really only studied the day before the HSC exams for English, Physics and Engineering and they were my worst marks.

I don't care about the glory of a high mark haha, just about getting into uni and I've done that.

We just take the limit of the as this is the part we're concerned about. Something like that... hahaha.

As x->infinity 4/x^2->0, So y-> +/- (1/2)x

This basically means that for large values of x, the curve tends to go near the curve/line y=+/-(1/2)x. Of course it would also approach infinity, but it will do so by staying close to y=+/-(1/2)x.
