hehe i played my first PS1 game, last week, for the first time in like.. 5-6 years or something

game??? Crash Team Racing!!!!!!

Digimon world was another fantastic game as a child.. i remember spending countless hours on it and still never finished it..very big game.. got stuck at the part where the monkey digimon [ent-...???] came to the city

I got stuck heaps as well but then I discovered gamefaqs.

Someone mentioned it before & I actually have never played it....shame on me lol. Although yeah its supposed to be one of the best ps1 games of all time.

It looks to be compatible with ~40-50% of ps2 games however most of the ones that arent compatible would be the ones we'd wanna play , anyway here's the site if anyone wants PCSX2.net - Compatibility

Yay you can play Digimon World 4 with this!

Then again....I've played Digimon World 4 on an actual PS2 and requires the use of joysticks (L3 AND R3) to move characters around (directional buttons won't work).

Does this come with some sort of virtual joysticks? If not then does this mean I cannot play this game?

I used to play Tony Hawk + Crash as a kid.

I recommend those two.

Used to like the Nightmare Creatures games they were awesome, oh and that was the days when tenchu was good. Crash Team racing. MGS. Rainbow Six. Some of the best FF games.

I used to love Tekken 3 back in the day. Best fighting game on the PS1 IMO.

Metal Gear Solid was awesome. My PS broke before I could finish it tho

Crash Bandicoot 3 was an excellent platformer. Crash Team Racing was really fun too. (Crash on PS2 is shit lol)

Tomb Raider was a good game too. I got the fourth game. Never really conquered it.

One of the best games for PS1 imo, was Vagrant Story.

Then there was teh Ace Combat series that wasn't mentioned .. Tomba was also an awesome game!

btw. A flawless ps1 emulator is a psp
(albeit only having 1 joystick and only 2 shoulder buttons) it works perfectly =D
