As bad as Bleach is, it really is an amazing Anime up until the end of Soul Society arc. Death Note is definitely a must-see. Steins;Gate is pure genius.

Rainbow: Nisha Rokubō no Shichinin (RAINBOW 二舎六房の七人) I really, really recommend it. Its one of the few animes I've never forgot.
Bleach was the first proper anime I watched... I recommend it to some degree but they are many great animes out there...

That's a good list. Note also a few of these anime have a better season 2 then the original(in general opinion) such as Fate/Zero(it is the s2), Full metal panic (don't forget fumoffu, best comedy),Code Geass(arguably both seasons are close),Clannad(season 2 just tops it) and Haruhi Suzumiya (the movie is GREAT!, but s2 is a let down).

Death Note isn't on your list... I assume you've already seen it. It's a rite of passage, really.

Also Bleach gets pretty bad after Soul Society arc. Even if you skip the fillers.
