A few places had them in stock lately. I bought mine from Gamesmen last week but had to buy a bundle for $969 including another controller and GT7. Worked for me since I would've bought those items anyway, and I had enough trade in credit such that I only had to pay $5. Best to call around and see who has them in stock since not all retailers put it online.

Edit: Just saw you're in Melb so this probably doesn't help. Gamesmen ask anyone who calls up about PS5s if they live local as they're only willing to hold until end of day (unless you pay in advance), and they won't ship their in-store stock.
