Hi guys, trying to see if there is a name for the humorous technique where the audience sees someone/something sneaking up behind the main character, but the character dosen't see it and keeps acting/talking to the audience, and then reacts in a surprised and funny way when they find out? Might seem a bit abstract but i figured its quite common so might have its own name to impress markers with thanks all.
