This is the conclusion of my speech

Both Shakespeare's ...... and ........... therefore support the notion that belonging encourages one's self-actualisation and can enrich our identity and relationships, giving one the inner-capacity to accept and understand others

does the part in bold fit in alright and make sense?

Try this instead, I've edited little bits:

Shakespeare's x and y support the notion that belonging encourages self-actualisation and can enrich relationships and our identity, allowing humans the ability to accept and understand others.
