I'm making this because I don't want to study (you could say I am bored of studying :D....surely thats the millionth time someone's made that gag on here) and whilst the revived thread is a good idea its execution is boring. Everyone can just name their favourite artists n the lineup. So this is for if you want to create your Realistic Dream Festival Lineup.

Rules
1. Artists must be alive.
2. Try to follow the template realistically. You can bend it but not break it. For example there are two headliner spots, so realistically you can't have Bob Dylan, The Cure and Rage Against the Machine on the same lineup because that's three HUGE bands.

Here's the Template, feel free to not include some of the 'token' bands.

Two Headliners

Australian Headliner

One Large International Act - Just below Headliner material.

Nine Mid-Range International Acts

Seven "Aussie Filler" Acts

Token Electronica/Dance etc Act

Token Metal/Hardcore/Punk etc Act

Token Pop/"Top 40" Act

Token Old/ Reformed Act

Token Hip Hop/Rap Act

Token Comedy Act - Can be a comedian (e.g. David Cross) or a Comedic Band (e.g. The Mighty Boosh)

An Act that plays one of their albums in full - ala Don't Look Back concerts.

I'll start.

Two Headliners:
Paul McCartney
The Cure

Australian Headliner:
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

One Large International Act:
Wu Tang Clan (I've probably cheated here, but my defence is that this is a festival in Australia, they aren't as popular here as in America)

Nine Mid-Range International Acts:
The Flaming Lips
Arcade Fire (These three bands may be too big, but let's say it's a rich festival)
Incubus
Belle and Sebastian
Primal Scream
Bright Eyes
M.I.A.
TV on the Radio
The Polyphonic Spree

Seven "Aussie Filler" Acts:
You Am I
Regurgitator
Eddy Current Suppression Ring
Angus and Julia Stone
Little Red
British India
Dappled Cities

Token Electronica/Dance etc Act:
LCD Soundsystem

Token Metal/Hardcore/Punk etc Act:
The Mars Volta (I'm probably cheating here too but in my defense I'm not heavily into this stuff, and only probably know classic metal)

Token Pop/"Top 40" Act:
Mika

Token Old/ Reformed Act:
The Jesus and Mary Chain

Token Hip Hop/Rap Act:
Jurassic 5

Token Comedy Act:
Tim Minchin

An Act that plays one of their albums in full:
Sufjan Stevens playing Illinois
