I know this is probably the most commonly discussed and popular course on here, but I cannot wait to drop extension maths. The past three terms have been tolerable at best. Advanced is more than enough for me. I suppose it just took me pretty much all of high school to realize that I never had a passion for maths so my extension road pretty much ends here. Personally, I would regret it more if I spend hours fretting about doing well in a difficult subject I don't even plan to do at uni rather than preparing myself for getting Conservatorium or any other place with a decent Music/BoA course.

What about you guys, are you dropping any subjects going into yr 12? Any fears of regret?

Haha well it can be pretty dull...but the work load is relatively light if you compare it it 3U maths.

Dropping Extension 1 English for Extension 2 Mathematics.

Probs won't regret it. But Year 11 EX1 was a good ride.

So planning to go into Year 12 with Adv Eng, MX1 & MX2, Physics, Business Studies and Economics.

Might drop Business Studies during Year 12 if I feel 12 units doesn't work out.

I picked up them both, and dropped eco for them. Dropped his ext with no regrets, ee2 english I didn't really regret right before major was due at trials time. Slightly regret dropping eco over modern.

Dropping Ancient History! I really think it's a pointless subject... I'm not really sure if I regret choosing food tech to do in my HSC, The only fear I have is if I get a below 90 in it because its scaled really bad.

Aww Ancient History is pretty good actually...idk why it has such a bad rep overall....suppose it depends on the teachers though. Only passionate or at least very knowledgeable teachers can teach it properly because it is certainly NOT a textbook subject.

Problem is, I don't know if I'd start the major work before the day it's due.
