Hey guys,

I am an engineering student and although it is only week 4 of this semester, some personal issues arose concerning my academics. I know that with this I will definitely not be able to mentally handle the workload of the 4 compulsory courses so will it be possible to drop one course as an undergraduate engineering student and do just 3 without any penalties? also do I even have the option of doing this since I am a full time student (as stated on myUNSW)?

Thank You.

Census is August 31. Unenrol on myUNSW.

I think that's how it works.

Yep just go on Myunsw and click drop course, you're still considered a full time student and there are no academic or financial penalties. Just make sure you do this before 31st of August.

If you still have over 18 units of credit worth of courses, you'll be a full time student still.

Liability credit? What?

If you mean like HECS thing, yes - because you unenrolled before census date.

Note that you can only do the above if you're an Australian citizen. If you're an international student, like I am, it's mandatory to have 4 classes per semester.
