so i got offers to anu and uow, which are great unis but aren't my first choice. i want to accept the offers so the place is held for me if i don't get into unimelb, but does anyone know if i will be able to withdraw from the courses if i get into melb? i cant find anything on either website or admissions portal

from what I've been told for anu at least you can withdraw the offer at any time^^ admissions told me accepting the offer is just so that you get a formal offer after atars are released

your place at uow will be held regardless until around December or January I'm pretty sure, so you have time before they give you the boot. They will email you when you have to accept or decline, so don't worry about accepting it just yet.
