i think pearls are like these pearl-shaped (hence the name) sweet jelly ball things...like sweet caviar almost, but bigger...they're not that nice, someone else referred to them as being like snot which is pretty much correct. i dunno, the first time i had pearls in a drink i was like WTF is this, it was such a weird sensation

they're relaly good too!

=) I know what you're talking about. They make those weird cookie-ish, pastry-ish pockets and fill them with custard.

They're like cookie puffs, and they're near that place with the cool coloured lights at night. =)
