Anyone here do Economics?
What country did you choose for us globalisation essay?

its like 3/4 of my class chose doing CHINA!!
im thinking that the marking will be tough since its really competitive..
But obviously CHINA got the most information to do it?
Im deciding to do Brazil.. is that a good idea to do?

it really doesn't matter what country you do, as long as you do it well.

China is the best example of globalisation, so you can still do it, it a great case study to do (and is also useful in linking to the Australian economy via the commodities boom)

However, you obviously want to stand out a bit more and do something different; doing another country is fine, so long as you can find sufficient information (it may take you longer), and can write it well.

Brazil, Poland, Singapore and India are just some that you can do.

Just make sure that when you write up the essay, that you directly link the changes in the economy to the globalisation process. This is the key thing that markers look for and if you've got it, you're looking at top marks.

I'm doing the celtic tiger as well. By the way, not the fastest growing economy in the world, China has that place. But Republic of Ireland is definitely up there
