I have my Economics Presentation tomorrow and wanting ideas to improve how it looks and sounds

Mine is planned to go for about 20 minutes, and it is what i believe to be very solid material.

So anyone have any suggestions how to improve the way it sounds/give me ideas/advice

P.S my presentation is a powerpoint and i also have pages of bullet points saying what to say, so i do not have it totally written out

Best to keep it focused, dont just read off your palm cards (i.e. dont prepare the whole thing), but I see you've written points which is good, add stuff to it, sound very natural, use hand gestures, point out stuff on the power point, lots of eye contact, emphasize your points to the teacher, make sure he/she nods (show's that they're interested and engaged), dont worry if the rest of the class is listening, doesn't matter.

Good Luck.

Thanks, there is only 9 in our class, so it shouldn't be to hard to care if anyone is listening

Also i am happy that the notes on palm cards are the best way :)

Twenty minutes is far too long. I can almost guarantee it is much less interesting than you think it is. Shorten it.

Make sure your layout it clear on the power points. Make sure there is enough colour differences to read it. Dark colour on light for text, or vice versa.

Make reference to the points on the screen. Don't just put stuff up and ignore it. Use it as a visual aid.

Rehearse it. Many, many times. You basically be able to do it off the top of your head.

Eye contact is essential. Make sure you address the whole room.

Use your hands, and your body. Invest in what you are saying.
