That's really stupid. Don't sacrifice your HSC for your friends. This is the time where you need to learn it's ok to do things on your own and go by yourself.

EDassist helps a lot. The only study I did for Chem throughout my HSC was going to the Chem EDassist lectures...and at Open Day the Uni was shocked I was considering doing Chem Fundamentals with the mark I got.

I got my acceptance letter for the 9 week intensive ed assist course for maths and physics. I too am totally threatened by going on my own and without my friends, but I really just need to do it... chances are if i go to uni that's what i'll have to do anyway, might as well start being a bit independant now.
