Guys I need a new related txt for Belonging (yeah, i know this isn't the English forum, but those bitches are not replying to my thread over there...) and was thinking of doing an artwork. I can't really choose which one I want, and I need you to help me. Which one relates more to the concept of Belonging? Which one has the most things (techniques, themes, etc) to talk about? Essentially, which one is the better option. Gimme some fancy artistic techniques I can talk about too :D. These are the artworks I have in mind:

Edvard Munch's 'The Dance of Life' - http://kafka.cn/tag/images/danceOfLife_3.jpg

Edward Hopper's 'Nighthawks' - http://www.ibiblio.org/wm/paint/auth...nighthawks.jpg

Frida Kahlo's 'My Dress Hangs There' - http://tothewire.files.wordpress.com...there-1933.jpg

Frida Kahlo’s ‘Self-Portrait on the Border Line between Mexico and the United States’ - http://www.sai.msu.su/cjackson/kahlo/kahlo28.jpg

Thank you very much in advance guys! Don’t forget to give me your reasons as to your choice!

If it's not too late:
Go with the Kahlo one about the U.S. and Mexico
or
Nighthawks

The Kahlo one has various symbols, vectors and salient iconography, whereas nighthawks has a bit more of a literal association with belonging to a place or not belonging (isolated figure).

thats a good idea, i like Kahlo's borderline of us and mexico one for belonging, though im not as familar with the others. but borderline shows where she feels she belongs contrasted with the alien culture of the US. i know she uses a lot of symbolism and bright colours which is because of her mexican culture

Hopper's "Nighthawks" -check out Alain de Botton's essays on it. At least 3 of his books mention it and talks about the isolation/belonging in the work.
