I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for effective study, I always get distracted and I find I cant do anything for a long period of time. any suggestions of any exercises/ways to overcome this?

Watch Asian movies everyday till two days left for HSC, then start doing 48 hours of study; this ensrures you get all the concepts in your head easier.

I've found that I seem to do more efficient and effective study at my local uni library so quiet,
only downside I barely do stuff at home anymore :bomb:
and if you do do this, do not bring friends- it may seem fun but nothing gets done (from my experience)

Sit yourself down and time how long it takes you to get distracted. Say it takes 10mins. Then you take a break.

Next time, try study for 12 mins before you have a break. Then 30.. then 45.. then an hour etc.

If there's one specific thing you do when you don't want to study (play video games, watch tv, masturbate, whatever) just do that thing constantly for a few days until you never want to do it again. Worked for me.
