i believe the scheme was introduced to promote healthy living and ensure we (as Australians) have a promising and competitive future in the sports that we so love to watch and play. The scheme also extends to performers (drama, etc).
Okay so you understand that it takes a lot of steam out of the year 12's engine, amirite?

On that note, I just got my letter today of my successful application ot the elite athlete scheme.
