hey guys..can any one help me on answering these two questions:

1) crabs are a euryhaline invertebrates which is found in mangrove swamps. descrive one behavioural adaption of crabs which helps them survive the fluctuation in water salinties caused by the changing tides

2) explain how many molluscs such as missels survive low tide and the sudden rush of fresh water

Enantiostasis is the maintenance of metabolic and physiological functions in response to local environmental changes.

1 - Crabs burrow into the sand/seabed/mud, which protects them from the fluctuating flow of salty water because salinity in the mud is more constant.

2 - Molluscs can close their shells to retain salty water, thereby creating a more constant internal environment.
