would anyone suggest taking a Red Bull or V type drink 5 minutes before getting into an exam?
Does anyone know if they have that slow releasing energy or that "good for 15 minutes then ur dead" type energy?

Gah,

Drink some water (but not too much) and make sure you go to the toilet just before you leave the house!

You should have a big breakfast...

AND it's a known fact that apples make you more alert and help wake you up in the mornings, rather than coffee.

Good Luck tomorrow everyone!

Anything with a lot of sugar in it will give you a very big high and a proportionate low, so something low in GI (ie. complex carbs/ slow burning) would probably be more preferable.

A banana is ideal.

Unless they let you take in drinks, in which case you could keep a constant high from energy drinks. Only drawback i can see is youd propably have diabetes as soon as the hsc is over

You are allowed to take in water and lollies in clear, unmarked containers.

I take back the green tea remark;

The night before (ie. right now), I suggest you drink goon. Lots and lots of goon. That way you can take the goon bag into the exam and use it as a pillow.

If the examiner asks why you have a goon bag in the HSC, simply say "arrrgh, mate, that goon we got our hands on last night really did some damage..."

you're allowed to take in water. that's it, unless you have certain medication that you have to have or you'll die. because if you take lollies to refresh you, it gives you an advantage over others. if you have lollies, give one to everyone else, and i mean everyone else.....LOL

An english teacher I spoke to on the advice line told me lollies are good, and if you can disguise them as cough lollies or similar then you can just use the excuse of you have a sore throat and they have to let you have them... or something.
