When combining Civil Engineering with Business at UTS, does one lose the "Civil Eng specialisation" namely, "Civil (Construction), Civil (Structural)"? and if so, does that shit really even matter? is it not just a few extra subjects within the course?

I have a couple of friends that are studying B Eng/B Bus. I don't think it really matters. The only reason they have those extra subjects is to become more specialised.

But It really doesn't matter, especially since employers don't care if you've done specialised subjects. What really matters is how well you do in a subject and how well you do in the interview.

From experience, they praise diversity of subjects and employers like a better well rounded undergrad/graduate. That's how I got my internship with State Water. They saw in my resume that I studied French and Japanese at uni for my electives and thought I would be right for the job.
