ok so i have my english prelim on thursday, i memorised my essay right, and apparently the question is going to be different on the day, so am i supposed to be memorising the quotes + analysis as well?? like not just my essay, i need quotes, analysations and stuff. plus the prelim is like 1.5hrs and its jus short answer questions and the big fat essay

Honestly, just create a base essay and memorise that. Just read and write it over and over again and the main points should stick. All your analysis should be the same, but with minor tweaking to make it seem like you're really answering the question. Practice writing topic sentences and mostly everything else should be the same. Essays are usually just theme-based so have broad quotes/analysis for important themes.
