Obviously totally flunking out this year, I got an offer to Engo at UWS.
BUT it's conditional, to my attendance at UWS college for one year.

UWS is attrocious and the Engo campus is in Penrith.
(like, no offense to all you patriots..)


So, does anyone know how other universities "feel" about this. In regards to general transfers and such.

Is this "credential" even acknowledged by anyone other than UWS?

I don't want to accept if I just get stuck and can't move outttttttttttttttt.
That will suck alot.

Are you being srs, your saying UWS is crap, and yet your to much of a dip shit to even make the cut off for engineering their which was only 70. And from what i can see UWS collage is your best option unless you want to repeat.

ido admit that was a rather pschizophrenic way of voicing my concern (tense wise), and it doesn't take the smartest person in the world to acknowledge the fact that uws is poop.

it's a fact of life, it's not that i'm too good for it, as you put it, uws is a transfer point, that's what i see it as, it's not my fault unsw and other better universities have trouble acknowledging what is taught. see i respect these opinions alot, and share them, i grew up wondering abouts the departments there.

i'm just being realistic(about the college), it's a serious question, this offer seems like a dupe into not ever being able to transfer out. (the offer being stay a year at the college, get a diploma and then we'll shuffle you into second year, would it be possible to transfer out then?! i'm sorry i'm so hateful, i just hate the western suburbs).

people have trouble transferring out of insearch to UTS, even with a credit average. few people make the cut.

thus what are the chances of anyone recognizing it, it seems like TAFE is above it.

i didn't do general (this is my brothers account)

and i wasn't comparing the degree to tafe, rather the college, which is a uws equivalent of insearch (just as fail?) which is my only concern.

people transfer out of uws(so it isn't that bad), just with great difficulty, i suppose.

UWS ain't poop. It's fully accredited; and apparently, heaps of Ruse kids are going there next year since they have newly renovated facilities.
