'leaps and bounds' means by a lotgman03 said:So .... is that good or bad? (Pardon me I failed HSC englsih lol)
if you are going by UAIs which you shouldn't, UNSW engineering cutoff is now 85, which is probably equal or greater than most unis now.xrtzx said:becuz the uai cut off is usually lower than other unis
It means that they shit all over USyd.gman03 said:So .... is that good or bad? (Pardon me I failed HSC englsih lol)
It's also 75, which is probably much lower than most unis nowlaney said:if you are going by UAIs which you shouldn't, UNSW engineering cutoff is now 85, which is probably equal or greater than most unis now.
Only the 'official' UAI. The true UAI for a lot of Uni's is much lower than this.zkuld said:It's also 75, which is probably much lower than most unis now
There are people with alternative entries whose UAI is below the published cut-off...zkuld said:True UAI? news to me...

What does that mean to yr 12 people? well, practically nothing.
Well if you want to do engineering and get a UAI less than 75 it means everything. If you are in this boat look at UWoll and others that allow 'direct' entry. Regional Unis including UWoll also have a cutoff of 5 less than the published UAI for those living in their region. Region for UWoll includes The Shire I believe.gman03 said:There are people with alternative entries whose UAI is below the published cut-off...

Read this thread... Should convince you enuff dat unsw is da best...xrtzx said:o ok thats alrite, anyway how would u rate engineering at unsw, is it any good? becuz the uai cut off is usually lower than other unis
