I know the co-op website says 95.7 UAI is required for the scholarship, but i've also read that people have received it with a UAI lower than 95.7, given they have at least received the course cut-off.

Anyone know if this is true?

Yes, people have gotten in with lower UAI, but usually only in ones that have a lot of places, engineering co-ops generally have fewer places, so there less of a chance that you'll get in with a lower cutoff.

this year in chem eng and IC there was about 5 co-ops that werent filled in the 1st sem and in the 2nd sem 1 remains.

co-op is the most badass scholarship there is.

i stress that this only occured in chem eng & IC as we are a small cohort.

i heard this from rob burford a lecturer at uni and also a few of my friends filled up the vacant positions.

A couple of my friends from high school filled up those vacant positions for industrial chem. Their UAI's were like 95.35 and 96.8 i think.
