I'm just kicking myself because of that half-section question. I would've been able to finish it if I had the time. 5 marks down the drain.

Band 6 cut-off is probably low 80s (but hoping it's even lower lol)

It was pretty difficult exam, so I'm calling Band 6 to be around 80-85% raw mark

I'm hoping that I'll get at least 85 raw, but I already know that I lost at least 10 marks so fingers crossed

Hoping for a high b5 to low b6 (b6 preferred ofc)

compression nature. can't remeber exact but i got around 20 something kn.

one of the reactions i got the vert going 20 up and 40 across. But it seemed pretty hard

I didn't expect that counterbor drawing symbol stuff in multichoice considering previous years didn't have it. Found the exam really difficult. I thought there would be more aero-engo tbh.

Yeah I don't think anyone knew what that drawing symbol stuff was

The exam itself was fair in terms of difficulty, there were a few questions (fuck you multiple choice) that required specific knowledge like zener diodes and manufacture of carbon fibre, but overall it was ok in my opinion. The mechanics were fine but the drawings was pure aids.

I didn't find drawings too hard. And the last question for multiple choice was cooked. The ratio of whatever.

Which questions would be the discriminators? Zener diodes, 2nd part of truss analysis, gear number...?

Maybe the drawings especially the true length, the welding question and some of the last multiple choice

What about the logic gate question? Did anyone else get 0 for each row
