USYD Civil Engineering is outdated, fundamentally flawed and produces the least productive graduates. The reasons are due to its coarse structure, its lack of practicality, its refusal to embrace subject flexibility, refusal to update program on industry changes and poor work based engineering academics
1. Coarse Structure

Oh fuck this one of gonna be a field day:

This is the current USYD Civil Engineering coarse structure (http://www.civil.usyd.edu.au/future/undergraduate/subjects.shtml)

The subjects of failure are as they follow
Physics or Chemistry – Physics OR Chemistry, wtf? How many stupid universities give neither side of science as an option? You have to be a massive retard thinking you only need one of the pair, you need physics to help you with the fundamentals of Statics ( of the more fancy term Engineering Mechanics) and you need Chemistry to assist you in the Materials side of the degree. What’s the point doing a degree that has no clue as to where the fundamentals are, still stuck in the 1970s waiting for a new direction. The only OTHER university that is that Still doesn’t have foundation chem. & materials has to be UWS, feeling proud aye? Gotta love to be apart of a very exclusive club with UWS

Differential Calculus & Algebra – Why the hell are you doing a science based subject that focuses on the theory aspects of mathematics, I’m going to assume you’re an international student by the sheer stupidity I am presented with, you paid $2000 to learn the theory side of mathematics when practicing engineers focus on the design aspects and the practical uses, like seriously I look at that fucking lecture book, you spend 4 weeks trying to find out where the fuck calculus same from how about USYD does the right thing and FUCKING USES calculation such as calculation changes of rate flow or complex harmonic motion of bridge structures like what should A FIRST YEAR CIVIL ENGINEERING STUDENT SHOULD DO. Not a retard that wants to learn whats it like to do science. I’m even amazed people would rock up 8am (yea that’s right retard, I even know when MATH 1001 & 1002 is on) to see how worthless is your time (I would include brain but anyone who does civil at usyd is just brainless on his own right) it actually is

Integral Calculus & Statistics – Yet again, why the hell are you doing a science based subject that focuses on the theory aspects of mathematics instead of the practical side. All the rocks and their geo-properties (stress, strain etc) are already know but you wait 6 months on that, monkeys fuck USYD civil is like the state government, ‘More work to do but we are too old to know wheres the right fucking direction

Construction & Surveying – Ah the largest joke of the USYD civil engineering program, how can a university merge one of the largest booming fields of civil engineering with local government engineering what a fucking joke that subject is two WORKING SPECIALISATIONS in one. Cheap dirty retarded 1970s university, the more you breakdown usyd the more you realise UWS is structured better. I bet that subject doesn’t even let you on site nor let you get a white card (I bet this dumb cunt challenging me doesn’t even know, I swear why do first yrs think they know shit they are just retards finding an excuse for an existence, your even worst than that frn15 dumbcunt)

Vector Calculus – Vector calculus in civil engineering?? WTF??? That’s fucking electrical engineering why the fuck are you wasting your time on electrical rubbish, dead set why are you in civil honestly, my friends has a better job in getting a civil job and shes doing chemical engineering than you pompous nose to the ceiling retards who fail to understand the value of work experience.

Structural Analysis is optional????? WTF? That is a very important subject for steel, timber and bridge design but you clowns don’t even do it? Who designed this piece of shit and called it a degree, this has to be one of the most important subjects in the structural steam but you clowns think it’s better to waste time on rocks than meaningful subjects. USYD loves rocks, you know what parts of the head is filled of rocks at USYD

I’m done with the subjects for now lets move on the practicality and its disappointing lacking of it

Work experience foundations???? Where is it? UWS has it, UNSW has it, UOW has it, UTS has it as its focus where the fuck is USYD work exp preparation courses. You don’t learn how to write an engineering resume, you don’t know how to write a cover letter you don’t know how to conduct yourself in a professional interview yet you expect a fucking piece of paper saying your doing a degree to land you a job? Still stuck in the 70s looking for a new direction and its retards like you 3UNITZ who is more than retarded enough to use a z to fall for university marketing like seriously what the fuck is wrong with you? Its like saying im proud to be Israeli in Palestine, I swear there’s a reason why pro-abortion exists, it should be used if only we can see what kids would become stupid and retarded enough to have a false feeling of being superior. Its refusal to embrace subject flexibility is another topic of USYDFAILNESS, its epic fail enough you are forced and be told to do specific subjects in a specific order like if your retarded enough to fail anyone of them which statistically that has to be you then your fucked, literally you got a broken pattern and its time to get rapped in the arse.

Refusal to update program on industry changes:

Ill be very brief at this point the Handbook of 2004 hasn’t changed from the Handbook of 2008, 5 years and that shit place hasn’t changed a bit, its still old and falling further behind

Poor work based engineering academics

DO you have any lecturers that worked in industry for longer than 3 yrs after a failed stint at industry like seriously, UTS has ex project directors working in the engineering faculty and ex business executives working in the Engineering Management component of the MBA like seriously its all about research research research which is fucking useless in undergrad.

Overall. USYD is fucking shit for civil and any yr12 student wanted to do civil go to UTS, UNSW or UOW

Its retards like 3unitZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ who think just because you have just started doing engineering it means you deserve to become one, you haven’t proved fuck all to me, come back when you have done more than ½ the coarse little donkey

Yeah buddy because as we all know first year physics and chem focuses only on what engineers would need specifically if you went to a proper uni you would know that first year physics and chem has about 2 weeks on engineering related things. Also you have first year introductory statics and there are special subjects that focus on materials, btw this isnt UTS where its ok that you know nothing.
