I like how they hide the fact that they gave us 5 vanilla short fiction/non-fiction texts by calling them 'articles' or 'poems'. It's all the same bs

I'm SO glad all the unseens were pretty evenly distributed in marks, so glad there wasn't a big comparative

real, I always lose marks in those so everyday I thank the lord for all those 4 markers

I heard that standard consumerism wasn't about paradoxes but smth else and yeah was q5 instead of q3

The essay question is the same for standard and advanced right? I'm relying on dogshit standard essays to make the markers like mine more

I siad cause it was present tense, first person, and the time seemed to not exist, it was all in the moment, and that being here was repeated twice.

I didnt realise the writing booklets were 8 pages I did 7 pages in the booklet and then finished my essay off in a second booklet before realising there was an 8th page

mine was defs 8.... it was like the specific "english advanced" one w my student number and stuff printed on it, not just the generic 6 page booklet

Those booklets didn't come until half way through my exam so I had to do mine on the generic ones lmao I hope my essay gets into the system alright

im literally laughing rn but ok i was so not panicking yesterday

i stayed back with the senior invigilator and discussed it and renumberd it

so it ended up being the main booklet (1/3) with the prescribed text and then all that was written was "completed in writing booklets" (invigilator wrote that)

and then the two booklets where i actually wrote the essay were 2/3 and 3/3 respectively so 1/3 wasn't really part of the essay at all but yeah. should all work out.

Also i fucked up again by writing the course number instead of the centre number so had to cross that out and rewrite it man i was so stressed walking into that room lmao
