Hi I'm in year 10 and although it doesn't go directly to the school cert i really need help in writing an English essay. I don't know how to construct an essay for this question and need to write draft before the test.
“Distinctive ideas are at the heart of every play.”
In your view, what is a distinctive idea explored in Antony and Cleopatra? Explain how this idea is developed throughout the play.
That's the question. I was thinking that my 'idea' should be something like Love vs Power.
But how would i set out an essay like that? One paragraph on love, one on Power etc.? (If i did it like that, what would my 3rd paragraph be)
Or should i paragraph according to techniques?
E.g. Language and how it adds to the concept of Love vs Power or even how it adds to love and power individually
