Look through past papers and practice your ability to pick out literary and visual techniques quickly. There's nothing much else to do except also knowing what you're expected to answer for a certain type of question.

practice a trial paper and experience the comprehension in exam conditions
(trust me it helps)
know your connotations of belonging
know your techniques

Hey, was wondering bout the creative. Do u reckon if u write, say, 2 pages for the creative writing task for paper 1, is that an immediate "non 15".

As in, if you're aiming for an "A range" mark, but u only manage to write 2 pages, then u can't get in that top range response, even if its "quality and not quantity'?

i got 9/15 for 2 1/2 pages in the trial

you wouldnt have enough in 2 pages to justify a 15 imo

Yeah no way could you flesh out a detailed story that has complexities and resolutions and what not in 2 pages. Try for 800+ words or around 5-6 pages in a HSC exam book.
