News Report

School Multicultural Day

"Imagine a day when hope and daring are all we need to build bridges"

It was quite hard thinking about what to write about for me. I just went on bout how we need to build our own "bridges" if we want to succeed in life. The response didn't really refer to the stimulus but I think I went alright overall.

I think i did pretty well in the speech, but i made the most ridiculous mistake on the news report. I completley missed where it said write a report about 'Morgan' high school (even though it was written in big block letters), and decided to write about MY school. Ahaha my marker is just going to be like wtf....

Newspaper Report: End of school sporting drought by win in a grand final. . . was quite humourous, bit unoriginal but funny

Speech: I spoke about the need to build bridges between divided communities, the need for unity, how troubled societies wished they had the resources etc we had and how important emotion, hope, daring, compassion etc are and applied.

Took a bit of thinking. Wrote more than I had to

My newspaper report was about the school's pet snake having a baby snake which had two-heads...

And my speech was some gigantic martin luthor king of-a-sort speech which imo was pretty good.... But the poetry comprehension was bad :mad1:... such random q's

Rofl, for short response I wrote about a fair to raise money for breast cancer which I kinda screwed up.

Long response, how we all need to take action to make the world a better place. Complete bs rofl.

I said that his dad is like full on paranoid over the car and is overprotecting it, whilst the son gets annoyed over his father's attitude- quoting from the text as well...

I said the father was a perfectionist too, and that the car being stuffed up went against his idealism of stuff being perfect.

Haha i thought i had quite a creative idea for my newspaper report. I wrote how the director from 'The Motorcycle Diaries' had decided to shoot a part of his film at our school. The part where the two main characters experienced their childhood together etc. etc.

For the speech i wrote about unity and how if we want to continue in this world we must learn to cooperate with each other and learn to respect each other's values and we must be able to support each other etc. etc.
