Moving it to Wednesday would probably be alright.

u really don't want to go to uni for a 1 hr tute. tank it on another day.

some tutes are compulsory, some are't.

the physics one is a 'lecture' tute so you don't ahve to go. waste of time too.

normal lectures teach

tutorial lectures they just pick out questions and do it and explain it further.

I thought all tutorials would be like that?
yeh but math tutorials are in class (small class like high school) and is compulsory.

'lecture tutorials' aren't compulsory mmost of the time.

Don't know if you're referring to my timetable or not, but if so, I'm living on campus so showing up for a one hour lecture in the morning is no problem for me :)

also if you do electrical you HAVE to do either COMP1911 or COMP1917 (COMP1911 being the easier course)
its a matter of personal preference, well COMP1911 assumes you know jack all about computers, then 2 weeks starting the course you're on your way to some programming already.
3 weeks in and you get to start your first computing assignment.
how fast uni goes.....

look guys, as long as ENGG1811 is allowed as an acceptable alternative in your major then you can do it.
obviously electrical majors cant do ENGG1811.

i only did ENGG1811 and am doing mechanical and i worked with MATLAB which resembles C more than VBA and i was much better than most people with it.

im in 3rd year, less class times so im stuck with an 1 hour tutorial on wednesday. :(

solutions onlineeeee.....
but too bad it doesnt apply to every course....

if you're doing mechatronic, or comp/eng, then go for comp1911 (it's harder than engg1811 and it involves C programming).

otherwise just go with engg1811 (vba i think, its easier), but if you like C programming and are good at it then there's no reason why u cant go with comp1911.

main thing is that comp1911 is ESSENTIAL with mechatronics and comp sci, i think comp sci students actually have to do comp1917..
