Hi guys,
Could someone tell me what a really good structure would be to an english essay as i seem to be called upon that recently in my assessments.

Integrate the texts well. Don't necessarily use steel. I tend to organise points in terms of themes/ideas etc. rather than text 1 then text 2 etc.

an integrated structure is good if you can do it well, but text-by-text is easier. depends upon the essay - for belonging, structuring it by texts would probably be fine, as they're looking for a simpler essay, but for the modules and extension a thematic structure can show more depth and knowledge. most importantly, make it clear how you're doing it, signpost with topic sentences and concluding sentences in every paragraph. integrate quotes with analysis and techniques.
