AT1 65% Course position: 63/139 Course mean: 60.9% Test worth 15%

AT2 54% Course position: 66/131 Course mean: 52.7% Test worth 30%

AT3 84% Course position: 31/131 Course mean: 60.5% Test worth 15%

AT4 64% Course position: 36/109 Course mean: 49.1% Test worth 40%


Plzzzz estimate the mark that will be on my report!!

P:S how much should i get to get at least band 5 in math 2 unit

well when you work out your raw score with all the particular weightings, you get 64.15.. which is a band 3..

you need 80-89 to get a band 5..

Yeah, agreed with the above. But school assessments are usually harder so, don't worry about it.

will the school scale my mark (64.15%) or is this the mark that will be sent to the BOS?

im pretty sure that is the mark that will be sent in to the BOS and then the BOS will do any appropriate scaling.. i'd say, thast with the scaling of 2U maths, you should be looking at about 70 - 71, which is a band 4.. but then if u do well in the external exam, then you could expect something up higher, depending on HOW well you do in the exam.

you dont need 80-89 for a band.

Even if your school scale your mark it will do nothing good in essence, since if they scale your mark, all your classmate will receive equivalent scaling, ultimately bos will scale the mark to reflect your true performance in the HSC, if 64.15% is equivalent to 95% in HSC, you will get 95%
School scaling would make the mark look aesthetically pleasant, but if you are planning to go uni, it will not matter.
