So I completed my "half yearlies" and got all my results back.
I don't trust those HSC calculators... Well I want to but... I don't feel like it's reliable.
Subjects:

English Standard - 74% Overall Average - Rank: 14/48 (estimate)
-Weight left to go before HSC: 65%
-Estimating I will get 80-82% when I finish trials, its been time management pulling me down.

Mathematics - 60% Overall Average - Rank: 17/20 (estimate)
-Weight left to go before HSC: 60%
-Estimating I will get 75-80% when I finish trials, again time management.

Economics - 75% Overall Average - Rank: 7/15
-Weight left to go before HSC: 60%
- Estimating 80% when I finish trials

Biology - 80% Overall Average - Rank: 30/40 (estimate)
-Weight left to go before HSC: 70%
-Lots of A grade students for Bio.
- Estimating 85-90% when I complete trials (time management has been rusty for this too)

Chemistry - 59% Overall Average - Rank: 13/13 (estimate)
-Weight left to go before HSC: 80%
- Estimating 65-70% when I complete trials (I just suck at this)

I know these results arent decent, I don't have time to have tutor for chem since I have one for maths. I want to do medical science @ UTS or medical&business @ UTS. They require 88 atar and 93 atar respectively...
Any stories on people who did bad in the beginning but somehow improved their results later?

At the moment, you're around 80 ATAR, but don't worry you still have term 2 assessments and trials. Legit you have to pick up your game if you want 85+ plus. I believe that you can do so! So don't give up and study hard!
