Internal assessment mark
A 75%
B 68%
C 59%
D 55%
E 53%
F 47%

HSC exam mark
A 97%
B 94%
C 92%
D 91%
E 88%
F 84%

what i am questioning is that dont they keep the mark difference in the internal mark and they use it to determine the moderated assessment mark?

so what i think is that
moderated assessment mark
A 97%
B 90%
C 81%
D 77%
E 75%
F 69%

is my thought right? (from above post, the reply was that internal school assessment mark mean nothing because the mark difference in actual HSC exam matters (in determinig the moderated assessment mark)?

yep good. u are totally wrong . no u c how it works is d last person F will get 84% as moderated assesment mark. give me a sec i'll try 2 work out the othas.

loll... 8/36, but thats my worst subject so i'm reasonably happy with it. Infact I like english, but its a love-hate relationship. I hope your other marks are as good.

so yeah, like i said before the last internal mark and first internal mark will be the same as HSC exam mark and will act like pegs the rest of the marks moving between them. And d marks in between will either be squeezed or stretched in between these two pegs trying to keep a reflection of how close they were proportionally. (I hope i ddn't make it too hard to understand)

For instance; d moderated ass. marks mite look like something like this.
A 97%
B 94
C 91
D 89
E 87
F 84

Ok you know i tried my best to comprehend how all this UAI thing works but it all jibberish to me, im just going to do my exams and see what i get...isnt that a whole lot easier?

which question do i answer first the first or the latter...

yes it is good not worry about how the system work in great detail coz it doesnt improve your marks in anyway, but its important to get a rough idea so u can pre-winge and dont get too shocked later

my other buddies who my relationships are as comlex maths ext 1, ext 2, buss., and eco. btw advanced english

Well firstly,

if i can recall it was you who decided to bring my english rank (which was '100%' off) into the convo

Secondly,

We do not go off on tangents we just have very well developed conversational skills that is a critical requirement in such an enviroment, unlike math people that have this thing with...with...with...well the list is to long to mention

last question to ask, lets say you got 96% as HSC exam mark, and your moderated assessment mark (according to the ranking) is like 84%, then can bos moderate the assessment mark again as there is huge gap between HSC exam mark and moderated assessment mark

such a case happened in our school last yr, exam mark 90, aseessment mark 76 thus HSC mark d avg of d two...
unfortunately BOS doesn't have a heart, nd u'll get what u get. so smart ppl dat left it till the HSC to show it bad luck.

They will not change the marks again just because there is a large difference.
